KOMPAS.com - Rating agency Standard and Poor's (S & P) announced several French banks suffered a downgrade because of weakening economic conditions in the European Union. One is BNP Paribas.
According to S & P, as news Xinhua on Friday (10/26/2012), BNP Paribas declined from AA-to A + for long-term credit. Meanwhile, for the short-term credit ranking to A-1 from the starting A-1 +.
The same thing happened at Credit Agricole, Socety Generale, and eight other French banks.
France are still struggling to emerge from the crisis also dropped its ranking from AAA to AA +.
